Preschool Graduation

Janika had Preschool Graduation today. For the past year we have been doing an at home preschool with a couple for other mothers. The program is called Mother Goose Time, I would recommend it to anyone. Janika was very excited for today, one more step to kindergarten, in her mind.

Hair Cuts

This past week the girls got their hair cut. Kylie wanted and needed her hair cut. Janika on the other hand didn't need her's cut. Her hair was long enough that she could put it in her mouth. I got tired of this and told her that if she was going to eat her hair that she was going to get it cut. I gave her three chances and then we got her hair cut. After wards she said that she loved to have her hair cut and wanted to do it again in a few months. As for Kylie it was her first time going to a salon, she loved every minute of it. The lady finished and asked Kylie how she liked it, she said, "I love it, but i want it blow dried" So, the lady dried it. Kylie loved her hair cut so much she wouldn't let me do her hair for 4 days. She would say "Your going to mess up my hair cut."

The Swing Set

The girls have been out side every day since we built our new swing set. They were playing on it before we even had the swing section built. The whole thing took two four hour sessions and a lot of prep work and we finished it, thanks to my Dad, that was down for the weekend. Thanks Dad!

She not posing at all.

Jerome Cheese Factory

Janika's Preschool group had their monthly field trip. Today we went to Jerome Cheese Factory. From what they saw their favorite part was the robots that moved boxes of cheese around. They also thought the hair nets were pretty cool.

Snake River Canyon Bike Ride

We have had some really nice weather lately, so this weekend we took advantage of it and went for a bike ride. We have always loved to go on rides with the girls but last year it was a little hard being pregnant. So this year we got a seat for Xander and the girls were in the trailer. We rode our bikes from our house along the canyon, under the Perrine Bridge, and down past Sportsmens Warehouse, about 3 or so miles. The girls had a blast and Xander slept most of it. We even got to watch the Base Jumpers at Perrine Bridge, Twin Falls is one of the two cities in the US that allows base jumping.

Happy Easter

I hope you all are enjoying your Easter. We have been having a great day so far. We started the day out with our Easter baskets, the kids all got church clothes. Then we had our egg hunt, the girls had a blast finding all the eggs. We then all got dressed in our Easter clothes and went to Sam's Dad's grave site. The girls always enjoy putting flowers there and they always have a lot of questions. We still have to have Easter dinner, I sure that will go well.

April Fool's Day

Yesterday I had to teach preschool and wanted to play a little trick on the kids. So,I put jello in some cups with a straw, one of my friends did this to her kids last year. I had all the kids put their hands behind their back and then gave them the drinks. I then counted down and they all started to drink. It took about a minute before they realized it was jello, just enough time to take pictures.
