Xander the Monster

Tonight was a bad mother night. We had gone out to breakfast this morning and when getting the kids ready I forgot to drain the water out of the tub. The water sat all day in the tub until tonight. Kylie and Xander were upstairs laughing, I figured they were just playing and having fun with each other. Little did I know, Xander had gotten in the tub when Kylie was brushing her teeth. He was in the tub with his socks and diaper having a blast. The water was freezing cold and he was shivering, but was having a blast. He threw a fit when I pulled him out, crazy kid.

Xander's New Toy

The girls love to play dress up and always want to put Xander in one of their dresses. Xander loves it just as much as they do. He loves the necklaces and the high heels. The kid even loves to have a his hair done, hair spray and all. We all have a good laugh when the girls dress him up but it was time for him to get his own dress-up things. Today a  friend and I made reversible capes, one side Batman and the other Superman. I haven't decided who likes it more Xander or Sam. Yes, Sam was wearing it today.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Happy St. Patty's day! The kids woke up pinching every one. I then set the rule of no pinching until everyone was dress. After taking Janika to school, we headed to the nieghbors to help decorate a float for the parade. Our neighbor had got a spot in the parade and invited us to be on it. The kids had a blast being in the parade. They didn't even care that they didn't see the rest of the parade. Janika had both hands waving so not to miss any one. Kylie loved waving but spent most of the time starring at the Fox behind us. Xander loved the balloons on the float and every so often he would wave. Xander really like the green poodle that was walking with the float behind us, the whole time he was saying dog.

Getting Ready

For the past 2 1/2 weeks I have been working on the new babies blankets. I have made blankets for all of my kids, one that I have sewed and one crocheted blanket. So, as soon as we got the word of the new baby I started the blankets for the little guy. I sewed a rag blanket for him that will go prefect in his room. I made it out of some of the left over fabric from Xander's blanket and mixed in a lot of new. The boys will have blankets that go together, but unique. Then I started to crochet a beautiful blanket for him. I set a record for my self and made it in 9 days. After I finished the blankets I set up the crib, and I love how it turned out.
