The Past Week Or So

The past week or so I haven't posted some of the fun things that we did. About two weeks ago we went to CSI where they put on The Beauty and the Beast. They had all the songs just like the Disney version. The girls loved very minute of it. They had to dress up like princesses. Janika was Belle and Kylie was Cinderella.

I also forgot to post their St. Patty's day project, they made hats. The girls loved that everything we eat was green, green pancakes, green mac & cheese, green cupcake, ect.

Janika has also learned to change diapers. The only problem is that she does it a little to much.

I LIKE WET PANTIES

Kylie has been potty trained for 1 year now and has been doing great. Lately we have been having problems with her going a little, just enough to make her panties wet, and then stopping. We have told her that we were going to put a diaper on her. She then turned it around on us and said she wanted a diaper so she could be like Xander. Every time we ask her, why her panties are wet, she has a different answer, but today was the best answer. We were out in the front yard riding bikes and then I noticed that Kylie's pants were wet. I asked her why they were wet. She chose not to answer. So, I asked, "Did you pee your pants?". This is what she replied, "I peed in my panties because I like wet panties." I told her that it was time for her to come inside and change. She didn't like that and proceeded to yell at the top her lungs over and over "I like wet panties"

The Pull-up Bar

Sam has been doing the P-90X program for a the past 6 months and as part of the work out program you need a pull-up bar. We have a removable door frame one that worked ok, but i have recently started the program and we needed something else. So a friend(John), Sam and I stayed up way too late last night trying to build our own pull-up bar. It took awhile to figure it all out but as you can see we came up with a pretty good design.

Janika was scared to hang by herself, so she's standing on the trash can.

Yesterday's Funnies

Yesterday we had a few funny things said and done in our house. The first one happen between Kylie and Janika. Kylie wasn't wanting to share and was being mean to Janika. Janika came back with this, "Kylie your being a mean, I'm the bestes sister and your not being a good sister." I sat there laughing and then had to be a parent and take control of the situation. Then the second thing was, I have gotten tired of the girls not eating their dinner because they had to many snack. So yesterday I didn't let them have any snacks between lunch and dinner. They kept asking, I just told them no and that they were going to have dinner soon. When dinner finnaly came the girls wanted tacos. They both love tacos and each eat about 2, but yesterday Kylie ate 4 and Janika ate 5 tacos. They not only ate all of their dinner, but we had no leftovers. So if I starve my children they will eat their dinner.

We have had a lot of fun making crafts with the girls this week. We first made their Jesus block this weekend when Sam was gone. The girls picked their paint and fabric, and of course Kylie picked the cupcake fabric. Then they got to paint them.

Then today they were watching a show and they were making sock puppets. And the girls thought it would be fun to make with Estella(the little girl I watch). They all had fun picking out the different thing to put on it. Even Estella, 17 months, had fun finding all of her things. Though most of those ended up in her mouth.
