Welcome Home Elder Angus

With one day back home to wash clothes after our trip to Wyoming, we headed to Nevada. My youngest brother Zach was coming home after being gone for 2 years. He was serving a mission for our church in Denver, CO. We were all very excited to see him and as was he. This was the first time Kieron and Zach met. Zach has a new favorite nephew.

It was great to see my little brother and to see how much he has grow in the past 2 years. He's still Zach but with great new perspective on life. I'm very proud to call him my brother.

Angus Family Reunion

This years Angus family reunion was in Lyman, Wy at a youth campground. We love this site for the reunion. It's in the mountains where it's cool and with many things to do. Its great time for relaxing and getting to know your family better. Some may say that getting to know you family better would be a bad thing and wouldn't want to speed time with them for a whole week. However my family is great, with amazing people full of personality.
We spent our days with hikes, relaxing, swinging, canoeing, shooting, and a fish farm. And then in the evenings we would play CARDS. My family loves to play card games. This year Janika was old enough to understand the rules of some of the games and was able to play.

Happy 4th

This year we spent the 4th in Wyoming for a family reunion. We had a great time with cousins that we hadn't see in a long time. We enjoyed some local fireworks at the rodeo grounds in Lyman. We were so close to the fireworks that our seats were vibrating and some ashes were landing very close to use. The kids loved being so close as for me it was a little to close for comfort. We ended the night with some personal fireworks that we had pickup at a stand.
