Swimming

On  Saturday we went swimming for the first time with Kieron. He's not to sure about bath time so we didn't  now how the whole swimming thing would go. Lets just say the pictures speak for themselves. It took awhile before he was okay with the water. As for the other kids they love the water. Xander was a little water rat and had us on our toes the whole time.

Families are Forever

Yesterday was a very special day for our family. Our family was sealed to Kieron. If you're not LDS click here for more information. Being in the temple with the kids was an amazing experience, one that will be talked about forever. Seeing them all in white, brought tears to my eyes.

Then today Kieron was blessed by Sam. It was a wonderful blessing. Sam did an amazing job and brought tears to my eyes again. It's been a great weekend.

Kieron 2 Months Old

Kieron is a little man. He now weighs 12.4 lbs and is in 3-6 clothes and only 2 months. He has even out grown the bassinet and has moved in to his crib. Xander and Kieron are now in the same room and doing pretty good. Though this morning I woke up to the monitor in my ear. Xander was letting me know that Kieron was crying, thanks buddy. 

Superman is a big thing in our house. The girls were even Supergirl for Halloween. I have seen this saying a lot and love it. I'm sure you'll be seeing a picture of Kieron with this on his shirt real soon.

Kylie's 5th Birthday

Kylie celebrated her 5th Birthday today. She loved every minute of it. All day she kept saying "BEST BIRTHDAY EVER". The best part about Kylie being excited is its a full body excitement. She doesn't hold anything back, her whole body moves. She's been doing this since her first smile. Kylie's excitement for life is my favorite part of her. So, back to her birthday, she had a great day filled with presents, a friend, and cake.

Kylie got  Barbie House from everyone(us, Grandma Angus, Papa, Grandma Barker, and Aunt Valerie) She played with it ALL day.

Kylie had her friend Mallory come to lunch with us, then to play at our house.

The Cake

This next part I wrote mostly for me.

Okay every year on Kylie's birthday I always think back to when she was born, as do I for all my children.  Kylie entered this world with many trials to over come. In one month this amazing girl went through things that most 5 lbs baby couldn't or even some adults couldn't of. Every year I look back at pictures of her first month and of course cry. Every year I have a favorite picture, however this time I have 2 videos too. I didn't even remember having these. The videos are short but I love them. The first is a little after her surgery. Her chest is still open, don't worry you don't see any thing, the bandages cover everything. The second is after her chest was closed and she was moving around. At this point I still hadn't held her(ever).
