This week we had a week long celebration for Janika's 6th Birthday. It all started with presents for Grandma on Saturday. On Tuesday was her "really" birthday and she opened a few presents. she had told us that she was only going to open one and then wait for her birthday party on Thursday. Within minutes from waking up she had opened all of her presents, so much for waiting. We enjoyed the rest of the day with a movie and Papa Kelsey's. Today we had a little party with one of her close friends. The plan was to go skating, pizza, cake, and play. This is how it really went. I pulled into a empty parking lot at skateland and realized that I was the worst mom ever and forgot to call and see if they were even open. The only day that they are closed had to be Thursday. Before I even finish apologizing to Janika, she says "what about` Hop-2-It"....perfect. So we ended up at Hop-2-It/bounce house. The kids had a blast and I even hear, "this is better than skate". I glad that my forgetfulness turned out to be a good thing. The rest of the evening went as planned.
Janika has been wanting a Miche bag for months but could never save enough money for one.(she kept spending her money)
This year Janika wanted a camo cake. I have no idea were all the camo is coming form. We are not hunters, fisher, or even campers. It's what she asked for and that is what she got, with a little princess/diva flair. I call it Camo Diva
