Day 3 of Disney World - Magic Kingdom

Princess Day
The girls dressed up as princesses today. I took pictures before we went and I'm glad I did. It was muggy and rainy today, but I would take it over Idaho winter. It was in the 70's today. The girls had a lot of attention today by all the "crew" members. Every time one of the works talks to the girls they refer to them as princess. Today was special they would call them by the Princess name, like Kylie was Sleeping Beauty today.




Dream Along with Mickey
Today we enjoyed a musical with mickey and a few friends. The girls of course loved it, it had PRINCESSES. They even liked seeing Caption Hook, but when the witch from Sleeping Beauty came out they sat a little closer.

Character Spotting
We only got a few characters today but 2 were a must see, Tiana and Jasmine.




Rides
We tried to get in as many rides in today before it rained. We managed to do so, it rained at 5. We have found that Janika is an adrenaline junkie, every time we go on a roller coaster she wants to go again.




Xander has a look every time he sees a character, its pretty funny. Today we got it on camera.

Day 2 of Disney World- Magic Kingdom

The day started at 7:10 with breakfast at Chef Mickey's. We had a wonderful breakfast with visits from the Mickey gang. This was one of the only meals that we had planned to eat at the parks, and we paid the price. The girls loved the Mickey waffles.


Cinderella's Castle
The thing that the girls talked about over and over again before we came was Cinderella's Castle. We walked in to the park and headed down main street the girls saw the castle, and screamed. My favorite part was the tile work inside that told the story of Cinderella.


The Rides
We road a lot of rides today like buzz lightyear's space ranger spin, the carousel, Space mountain, and many more. Janika went on space mountain 2 times and wants to go tomorrow. Most of the rides we could take Xander on, wich made it very nice.



Character Spotting
We saw, i swear, every character today. The kids spent most of their time looking for characters so they could get their books signed. Xander was very excited to see Buzz but when it was time for Buzz he freaked out. The thing that made the characters magical and real was the way they acted. The best was Vidia from the Tinkerbell movies, she had the attitude just like the . See drew a mustache on Tinkerbell in Janika's book (pic below).











Tangled
The girls got the meet Disney's newest princess Rapunzel from the new movie Tangled. The girls got the color pictures, dance with the princess, and have pictures with her.

Day 1 of DisneyWorld

Today was our first day of DisneyWorld. We tried to have an easy day after flying all day yesterday. We first drove all over the Disney parks, they have their own freeway. Then we went to Epcot. We only made it through 1/4 of the park but had a blast. We visited a few countries, China, Mexico, Norway, & Germany. The favorite part of the day was The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion, there we saw all types of sea creatures and went to Turtle Talk with Crush. The girls had a blast. The charactor interacted with the kids. Crush would have the kids ask questions and then would answer. It was like really talking to a turtle. Xander loved the fish; he just pointed to every thing.

Read Like an Eagle

The local college has a program for the elementary schools called Read Like and Eagle. Each grade has goals that they have to reach and then they get a shirt and can get into the basketball games for free with the shirt. Janika's goal was to know what each letter says. They had a day to recognize all the kids that reached their goals. Here's a few picture of the evening.
