We're Home!!!
After a week in Kansas, Kieron and I were finally able to come home on Saturday. There weren't any direct flights home so we traveled 3 different planes, big and very small. Kieron did amazing, he slept the whole time on the planes. We flew into Boise where Sam met us. This was the first time Sam had seen him. We then went to Sam's sisters home where the kids awaited. They were very excited to meet their new brother. After the meeting of Kieron and dinner we drove home. Now we're home and life is BUSY, mostly because of Christmas. Here are a few pictures of Kieron's welcoming.
Kieron's umbilical cord came off as soon as we got home, yea. So he got his first bath and he did not like it, as you can see.

It's a Boy!!!!
Wow, life has been a little crazy this month. Dec 1st we were matched with a birth mother and father. Dec 7th a little baby boy was born, 6lb 8oz. Dec 10th we flew out to Wichita Kansas to get him. That night we met his amazing parents. It was great to talk to them in person and to really get to know them. Dec 12th we were finally able to meet the baby or I should say I was able to meet him. Sam had to fly out before he was released from protective services, long story. We named him
Kieron Christopher-Clarke
That night his birth parents got to see him one more time before they flew out this morning. And now all the papers are signed and Kieron and I wait. We have to be approved by each state to travel, usually 5 business days. Hoping to be home by Saturday.

One of My Addictions
I have an addiction to many thing and DI is one. I love to go and find treasures and no I'm not a pack rat. I found DI my therapy when we started Sam's practice and had no income for months. I could go and find all sorts of fun things and only spend a couple dollars. I don't go as often because I don't find as many cool things. With the economy the way it is more people are having to shop there and things are pretty pick over. Anyways, back to my addiction, I was in there the other day and found a dresser for the girls room(theirs is fall apart). It wasn't the prettiest thing. I knew that a little paint and new hardware it would be perfect and I was right.
Kylie loved it so much that she wanted to be in the picture. |
