Kylie's sport is soccer, she loves it. She amazing me every season with here skills. She is very smart, rather than stay in bunch of girls randomly kicking the ball, she goes around the group and gets in front.
This season she made many goals and many dollars come out of my pocket.
She had a fun and very enthusiastic coach, Kylie loved her.
My little brother Ty got married this past weekend to his beautiful bride Kelsey. The wedding was in Tahoe City in California, it was beautiful. All of us kids were there and of course there was pictures and lots of them. Ok the pictures were for the wedding with us in a few.
I think the last time I had pictures with my brothers was 10 years ago. I love these pictures.
All the siblings and in-laws. Sam said that this was the first and last time he will be the tallest in the picture. All the men in my family are over 6ft.
Papa with all his girls.
O yea, my dad was the one that married them, it was pretty cool. My dad didn't think so the months leading to the wedding. He was very nervous. He did a fantastic job.
Xander was the ring barer with his cousin Wynter as flower girl. They were sooo cute together and as always they were attached at the hip the whole wedding.
A picture that we will treasure, everyone together.
I can't believe we actually got a picture with everyone looking, amazing!
I love these two pictures, my Dad and 5 of his 7 siblings. I love my aunts and uncles they always know how to have fun. And yes that's my dad in the pink hat.
What's a wedding without dancing. This was the girls' favorite part.
Janika turned 8 in August and in the LDS church that is the age of accountability and a child may be baptized and become a member of the church, if they choose.
Janika has been learning her whole life of the church and what it means to be baptized. She was ready for this day.
Sam and I are very proud of this little girl and the decision that she has made to be baptized. She is an amazing little girl. Her siblings look up to her and her great example.
We had fun taking pictures in our back yard with Janika in her baptism dress, that I made her. I love this picture with we blessing dress. It's a very special dress, my mom and I both wore it for our blessing.
Sam was able to baptize Janika and yes he cried.
It was a great day for you family and we look forward to more special days like this.
Janika and Kylie were defiantly ready for school to start back up. They met their teachers the week before and loved them. Kylie was very excited to be at school all day this year, mostly to have school lunch. She'll soon realize that its not all that good, especial for a some what picky eater. Kylie was also excited to ride the bus this year. Janika loves having things to do every minute of the day, so she's been a little bored this summer. They both come home with big smiles and lots to say about their first day.
Xander was so excited to go to school. He wanted to walk there by himself, keep in mind its about 1 1/2 miles from our house. I talked him into only our street and the preschool street.
As part of the county fair, there was a Monster Truck show. We had planned to have the whole family come and watch the show, but the girls got sick that day. So, Sam stayed home with the girls and the boys and I went. We gave our other tickets to friends and met them there. The boys loved every minute of it. Kieron laughed every time they roared their engines or smashed a car. It was a great Mom and boys night.
We celebrated Janika's 8th birthday with 7 little girls and had a spa day. Janika was so excited for her party that she was telling anyone that would listen. We started the party with the girls decorating flip flops with ribbon.
Then we headed out side to put robes on and have a foot soak with a face mask. The girls all said that this was their favorite part. We then had them wash her face and make their hair beautiful. They each then picked some finger nail polish to paint their own nails. Many of the girls were nervous about that, but did very well.
They all had a blast at the party and Janika had a great day with her friends.
